Fall Favorites 2013

My favorite colors for fall are a mix of nail polish and gel, from left to right they are Entity – Midnight runway, Essie – After school boy blazer, CND Vinylux – Masquerade,  Essie – Dive bar, Essie – Topless and barefoot, and last but not least Gel ll Reaction – Tahiti Sweetie. These are mixes of different colors that I like and some of them can be worn for the other seasons too. Some are polish and others are gel.

Essie After School Boy Blazer

Essie – After School Boy Blazer is a new color from this year’s fall collection, and has since replaced the dark blue that I loved.  It’s a dark blue that has a hint of purple in it and almost looks black on the nail in some lighting, which was one of the main things that attracted me to this color. This color makes my hand look paler and that is a bonus since some colors make my hand look more yellow and I hate it when that happens.

Essie Topless and Barefoot

Essie – Topless and barefoot, is sooo nice, it’s my fav nude color. Ever since this color came out I don’t even bother looking at other nudes. It looks nice in the bottle but even better when I wear it. Every time I put it on I fall in love all over again. I don’t think any other color will ever replace it for me. Nothing else seems to match up to this one.

Essie Dive Bar

Essie – Dive bar, is a beautiful dark green, in some lighting it looks like there is black mixed into it. It’s also a shimmery color, which is a major bonus in my eyes. I love shiny things. This is a great color for the fall since I like to wear dark colors but it also works for the winter too. Sometimes I like to wear it by itself or I would use for my accent nails and other times even do designs on top of it.

Vinylux Masquerade

CND Vinylux – Masquerade, this color also comes in gel!!! And of course being a color I love I have it in both lol. This is CNDs new line and I love the fact that with their top coat it lasts 7 days. I have tried many other reds and there was always something missing. This was perfect red I was looking for and I found it in gel but sometimes I don’t want to wear gel, so when it came out in the Vinylux I was over the moon about it.

Entity Midnight Runway

Entity – Midnight runway, is a gel and it’s a burgundy. I love wear this color on its own or even with other colors. I like this color cause its not too red but not purple either, it has a hint of both colors which I find really interesting.  When I get lazy and don’t want to do crazy designs on my nails I would just wear this and have accent fingers and I’m good to go. It’s a color that matches anything I wear from casual clothes to dressy and it works really well.

Gel II Reaction Tahiti Sweetie

Gel ll Reaction – Tahiti sweetie, it’s a purple color that changes to a light blue purple. Remember when you were kids and you had polishes that change color??? This is it!  In gel!!! I was always looking for good color changing polish but I couldn’t find it. But look, it came out in gel! I love their color changing gels, I can’t wait to try the rest of them.

Fall Favourites 2013

These are the colors I love to use the most often during the fall but I am not limited to just them. I try out new colors every chance I get but if ever I can’t seem to decide what to wear or I’m feeling lazy, they are the ones I would go for.  The reason I picked these colors are because when the fall comes, everything is more mellow. In the fall there aren’t anymore of the loud and wild colors around, you can almost feel the change in the air. Everything is more quite and deep, the weather is colder, the leaves starting to change, it just gives the feeling of wanting to wear deeper colors or even neutrals. Sometimes its nice to have polishes slowly ease you into the fall too, hence the color changing one I have picked. For the collection that I picked add a little sparkle or design and you can completely change the look of it, than it can be worn over and over again without getting bored of it.
