I always use a brow shadow. I love it so much better than eye brow pencils. I use a pretty light colour even though I have dark hair and eyebrow because I like them to look more natural. It’s like a taupe. Anything darker and I feel like my eye brows are way too dark haha.
Yes, it’s very easy to make your eyebrows look heavy and.. grouchy and unfriendly even 🙂 Using a light color creates more of a “shadow” when you fill the brows, rather than painting them in, it’s a lot more subtle! Powders and pencils are both good for different people, depending on “brow situation” 😉 but when you have fuller brows, filling them with brow powder 1-2 tones lighter than your brow color looks way more natural and visually “opens up the eyes”. So i totally hear you 🙂
