Love, laugh, dance and bring the good vibes to the ultimate non-stop party when China Glaze® launches Electric Nights, summer’s hottest day-glow nail lacquer collection. Inspired by the outrageously colorful fashion seen at electronic music festivals, China Glaze Electric Nights collection features nine enhanced neon lacquers that illuminate under a black light and three first-of-its-kind splatter paint effect top coats. Mix and match them all to create a glowing, mashup manicure that won’t skip a beat.
For this subtle tone-on-tone look i used two new CND Shellac colors – sheer gold Dandelion and peachy cream Salmon Run as a base. Then using brush-on-resin nail glue i applied pyramid nail charm on my ring finger, a cluster of pearls, Swarovski rhinestones, opals and studs on my pointer, pearls framed in metal filigree slices on my middle and pinky finger and a nail decal cameo lady image on my thumb. Hope you liked the look and will get inspired for some new fresh spring manicures! 😉
All the supplies are now available at Phoenix Beauty Lounge store in Toronto, Canada and soon will be available onwww.phoenixbeautylounge.com.
Here’s a new installment of our #ShowMeYourMani feature This week i was wearing a combo from #ChinaGlaze#TheGiver collection, that was inspired by the namesake movie and the book.
China Glaze The Giver: “Friends Forever, Right?” with “The Outer Edge” glitter on my accent nail
I was wearing the white with a touch of pink undertone, called “Friends Forever, Right?” with “The Outer Edge” glitter on my accent nail. I find it goes well with black-and-white monochromatic fashion looks that are huge this season and also nods to the 60’s Mod subculture style that was popular on Fall-Winter 2014 fashion runways. This nail look is a softer version of white, without being too stark or “whiteout’y” the fact which i personally liked And also, i’m not psychologically ready yet to embrace the dark and moody colors that everyone expects you to wear in fall So i’d call it a nice “transitional” mani look
Hope you like it and we’ll be thrilled to see what you guys are wearing in this awesome weather! So please #ShowMeYourMani by attaching a photo to the comments below!
Today i’m happy to share my recent favorite nail polish color that i seem to be wearing a lot lately. It’s the fantastic China Glaze Lotus Begin from Spring 2014 collection. It’s a brilliant purple color that has a medium tone, but still has some white to it, making it a cross between a pastel and a neon. Without top coat it has a semi-matte rubbery sheen, which i think looks very modern, but i also like to top it with my Seche Vite to add some beautiful shine 🙂

I hope you liked my #manioftheweek and i hope to see the photos of the look you are wearing this week in your comments below!
This week I went for a plush yet sparkly velvet manicure. The base color is two coats CND Vinylux Tutti Frutti, with the velvet flocking powder pressed into the CND Vinylux Top Coat. The result is a fluffy, fun texture that has been getting lots of attention.
This week i’m wearing CND Shellac in shade Negligee for a clean and simple look. It’s an almost-nude shade with a subtle iridescent sheen to it for an “extra glossy” effect. I love how CND Shellac makes my nails super-strong without adding bulk – hello spring cleaning! I’m looking at you!

This week i’m wearing (!) surprise 🙂 Deborah Lippmann nail polish named “Lady Sings the Blues”. It is a lovely glitter polish in a deep blue base. I love how the jelly texture of the base makes almost an “ombre” effect on the hex silver glitter particles.. The polish has pretty good coverage and is packed with glitter. It’s amazing for a special night out, and yet it even looks good with dark jeans 🙂 This was two coats. Hope you liked it 🙂
This week i’m wearing a deep saturated red by Deborah Lippmann that’s been on my wish-list for a while now. It’s Deborah Lippmann “Lady is a Tramp”, one of her iconic best-seller colors.
This is a true deep red that’s not leaning towards cool or warm and it’s easy for everyone to pull off. It seems to look even more retro glam on my oval-shaped nails. I’m almost tempted to use a dial phone and a fountain pen. By the way, the draft of this blog post was written on a typewriter. This was three thin coats.

And of course when i think of this name, this is the first thing that comes to my mind.
