Here’s a new installment of our #ShowMeYourMani feature This week i was wearing a combo from #ChinaGlaze #TheGiver collection, that was inspired by the namesake movie and the book.
China Glaze The Giver: “Friends Forever, Right?” with “The Outer Edge” glitter on my accent nail
I was wearing the white with a touch of pink undertone, called “Friends Forever, Right?” with “The Outer Edge” glitter on my accent nail. I find it goes well with black-and-white monochromatic fashion looks that are huge this season and also nods to the 60’s Mod subculture style that was popular on Fall-Winter 2014 fashion runways. This nail look is a softer version of white, without being too stark or “whiteout’y” the fact which i personally liked And also, i’m not psychologically ready yet to embrace the dark and moody colors that everyone expects you to wear in fall So i’d call it a nice “transitional” mani look

Today i’m happy to share my recent favorite nail polish color that i seem to be wearing a lot lately. It’s the fantastic China Glaze Lotus Begin from Spring 2014 collection. It’s a brilliant purple color that has a medium tone, but still has some white to it, making it a cross between a pastel and a neon. Without top coat it has a semi-matte rubbery sheen, which i think looks very modern, but i also like to top it with my Seche Vite to add some beautiful shine 🙂

It’s pretty cold and windy outside and yet what can keep our hands warm better than a cup of hot chocolate and some sizzling shades of new nail polish? We can easily get over winter blues and even get a slight suntan just by looking at our freshly painted manicure! Whoever had felt the same way is definitely our girl and we love you even more!
