It’s always good to be honest with yourself and use the beauty products that truly make a difference.

Is that eye shadow too sheer it doesn’t even show? Is that concealer not pigmented – or creasing on you? Is that primer completely useless? Does that blush color make you look sick? Well maybe it’s time to call it quits and find a good quality replacement. Keyword: Edit.

A lot of times were influenced into using certain hyper-trendy products by YouTube, blogs, cosmetic sales associates, friends, or simply we don’t feel “cool” if we don’t use them (don’t judge). But if you literally can’t see any difference while using it, or even worse – it makes you look less complementing than without it – it’s time to cut the bs and stop using it. Better be honest than nice.

If you remove one useless step from your makeup routine, and replace frustrating products with ones that deliver results, you can save your time and effort and get ready in a shorter period of time. Totally worth it.

Have you noticed that sometimes you apply a certain product more out of habit than because of its real performance. Do a little audit and critical assessment of your makeup steps. Do you really need all of them? Are all the products you use 100% necessary? Do they make you look better? Or maybe they could use some weeding?

“The Holidays are coming!” 🙂

Remember how were we holding our breath with excitement when we were little, while chasing the first snowflake? School break, smell of mom’s baking, building a snowman, crazy winter sports with friends, and endless hours of indoor games. But let’s be honest. The main part of the winter excitement was waiting for the gifts. Well, and magic. Because getting this amount of gifts when it wasn’t even your birthday has something to do with magic, right? 😉

With this year’s early chill, let us all remember the joys of winter as we saw it as little girls, when there was no such thing as “cold outside” and hats and mittens seemed like completely useless accessories! 🙂

YoureWelcomeWednesday Beauty University: Lip Shape

“Lining your lips from the outer corner in will create a more full, round lip shape. Lining lips from middle out tends to create a more pointy cupid’s bow”

In 90 cases out of 100, this is what tends to happen. It’s just how are hands work.

Choosing a more rounded lip silhouette or a pointy and straight lip is entirely up to you. Both are fun, but the first one seems to be in line with what’s considered to be the “current beauty ideal”. Whatever.

You can always experiment with both and see what suits your face or your mood better. But it’s always good to know what you’re doing and achieve your desired lip look intentionally.

Have you noticed that sometimes both sides of your lips look uneven or asymmetrical? Look into the way you paint them in. Whatever the lip look, please use the same method on both sides. Makes sense? You’re welcome!

The corners of the lips is one area we rarely pay attention to, but in fact it’s one of the facial features that can take your overall look from looking “upset” to “welcoming” in seconds.
